Software does improve productivities, but it costs much money.  This is really an issue for small businesses and nonprofit organizations.  NeneTech recently developed a new product named Nenest Form Server, which is targeted to solve this issue.

The principle idea of Nenest Form Serveris to make all small businesses and nonprofits to share computer hardware, software, labors, and other IT resources; thus the total cost can be split into many small fractions.

But practically how do they share resources, especially software, as they are quite different from each other? Internet lays the platform for people around the world to share information, and it also creates a platform for small businesses and nonprofits to share IT resources without geographic concerns. One remaining issue is how to meet various software requests from different users, such as website generation, account system setting up, and  custom tracking system formation, with a single software format. Nenest Web Application Framework (NWAF)was developed to solve this issue. NWAFcreates the capability for anyone, with or without IT knowledges, to be able to create software themselves, especially software supporting database. Then each business can customize their own software.

How does NWAF work?

NWAFintroduces forms to organize, store and display data. For example, in order to organize invoice data, which includes an invoice number, an amount number, a description and a date string, you can create a form composed of those fields.  Some labels is necessary for each field to make the form more readable.  A sample form is showing as follows:

With this form, you define the storing structure, create the finial GUI to input new invoice data and display stored invoice data.  Nenest holds a very advanced technology to synchronize the form and its stored data structure, so you are able to modify the form later but not destroy the data structure.

With this form-base Web Application Framework, almost all data can be organized in this way:

  • Invoices
  • Expenses
  • Bills
  • Orders
  • Customer Tracking
  • Registration
  • Invitation
  • Contacts / Address Book
  • Resumes
  • Surveys
  • Bug Tracking
  • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Reports
  • Web Notebook
  • Inventories
  • Experiment Reports
  • Experiment Journal
  • Contact Us
  • Quizzes / Tests

How to build forms?  Is this easy?

NWAF have a form editor called NenestForm Builder to build forms, which is actually an online word processor.  You can use that to create nice-looking documents or web pages with tables, pictures, colors etc.  Besides this, Nenestcreates many many pre-programmed controls for input fields such number, email, phone number, picture, rich text editor, table and so on.  When you need an input field, you just need to click the corresponding toolbar icon and a field is inserted into the form automatically, then you can give it a name or change other display property like size, index etc. The whole form building is just like writing a document.  It's easy! Aslo it's fun!

Besides developing a form from scratch, there are a lot of templates you can use.

You can also use any other off-line form editor, such as Microsoft FrontPage, Word, etc.,  to create forms then copy and paste them to your Nenestdatabase.

When a form is created and stored, an unique URL is assigned to it.  Then you can access this form anywhere anytime by typing its URL in the browser window.

How is data stored? How can I access my data?

When you want to store new data, you just open the form in a browser window, fill all fields, then store it.

You can have attachments appended to a form.  For example, you may want an original photocopy attached to the account form mentioned above.

You are able to configure the form for public accessing or internal accessing.  For example, you don't want public visitors to see your Invoice form, but you do want them access Customer Registrationform and Contact Usform.

Email notifications sometime is very important.  As for a Pizza Orderform, you want to get informed immediately when a customer fills the form.

When there are too many entries, data sorting, searching is very key tool to browser data.  You can search one or several fields, or perform a full-text search against all fields, all entries.  Another nice feature is you can create a search shortcut.  Later you can do the exact same search with just one click.

In addition you are able to download your data in a text file or a CVS file.

Nenest Rich Text Editor (NTRE)

Because it is a very powerful control, I want to talk about it separately.  This control enables you to create complex documents with pictures, tables, paragraphs, colors, fonts.  So you can use it as an online word processor.  One of NTRE unique features is it allows you to directly insert pictures from your computer.

Nenest Website

Besides normal forms, you can create common web pages such as About Uspage, Homepage, Privacypage, Termpage etc..  So this gives you the ability to build a complete website with Nenest Form Server.  The page shortcuts in the title section makes the website more convenient to use.

Is my data safe and secure?

Centralizing data is the best solution for small businesses and nonprofits to get data safety and security.  By storing data in Nenestcentral databases, which is monitored and maintained by experienced IT professionals, you are free of computer breakages, virus, and other headache issues.

Nenesttransports information in 128 bit SSL encrypted data, which is the industry standard for data transportation.

Costs
