Britt Bravo has thrown out this net2thinktank question: How Can Nonprofits Use the Social Web During the “Giving Season”?
It's an old idea - perhaps a slightly offensive one - but get them to go shopping. Sign up for a decent affiliate site which has loads of shops that your supporters are likely to trust.
I've written more here and any readers (especially uk ones with tons of Christmas shopping left to do!) might like to have a look at the online shop for a charity where I'm a trustee.
