Hey there net2 gang. I've created a bunch of other sites to demonstrate some of the other layers of information I think could be pretty cool on the mashup. For my back end, I'm using ArcGIS to assemble complex databases, Brian Flood's excellent Arc2Earth to export much of the information as tile layers and kml. I'm getting mashed up rss feeds from yahoo pipes and from those enlightened souls who put georss or kml feeds of their information out there (for example, the EPA has begun kml feeds for air quality). While not strictly a climate change issue, air quality could get much better with emission reductions from coal fired power plants. One of the data sources I'd love to throw on there is the epa's sea level rise database which auspicously has been muzzled by the federal government. In the following example, I created my own using 10 meter digital elevation models for Connecticut. While not perfect, they are a substantial improvement upon sea level rise maps I've seen on other mashups.

one final note. I'm using my own domain at the moment as a development server, but I already own the rights to www.climateatlas.org
Cheers!
