Mobile Giving Foundation
Mobile Giving promotes 'Donating via mobile Phones' . They found the market cap is $200+billions from individuals per year. And there are 260 million mobile users in US. They have a plan to rise $5 million donations for '09 where as they did $500k out of 100k mobile users in '08. They claim this is 100% pass through and easy to implement for the Non Profit Organizations. Nice thing is it also empowers the young donors who are the big time mobile users in the globe.
Mobile Giving Foundation is the channel between the donors and charities. This foundation got 220 charities under contract and 200+ in queue.
The Structure of the Foundation is , Non Porfit - application Provider - Foundation - Donor.
And the distribution of fund is ,
Donor Contribution - Mobile Carrieres - Mobile Giving Foundation - Non Profit Org.
The Fondation is paid by the Charities per month while sign up the contract.
