- e.g. ramps in sidewalks are there for handicapped but work for strollers
- standards and mechnisms for data sharing - open data !
- lead with social agenda not tech, lead with apirations for people!
- you can't achieve a just society without hard work, just like anything tough that you want to do
- who to partner with, who to learn from, what infrastructure to build
- need modern vision (world is changing, nuanced sense of democracy)
- have to be courageous enough to go to places where they are not comfortable
- it's essential, not an afterthought
- fully inclusive agenda including technology
