Seeking activist geeks and visionary nonprofit leaders...

Ruby SinreichHi, I'm Ruby and I usually introduce myself as a progressive activist, local politico, professional organizer, and compulsive blogger. For a more verbose explanation, please refer to my bio and my blog, where you can learn more than anyone could want to know about me.

I live in Chapel Hill, NC but I work (virtually) in Washington, DC as the "Web Maven" with Marty Kearns' Netcentric Campaigns helping progressive nonprofits utilize to empower their supporters and constituents with network-centric strategies.

I have been looking forward to this event for what seems like at least a year!  Looking at the list of attendees is amazing... this about to be REAL!  I am especially excited to see my old friend Peter Tavernise (now of the Cisco Foundation) on the list - as I haven't seen him in years.  I'm also looking forward to seeing Phil, Holly, Micah, Marshall, Beth, Rem, Kaliya, Ethan, David G, Victor, Eddie, Gunner, Elissa, not mention luminaries like Amy Goodman and Howard Rheingold, plus all of you cool people I haven't met yet (or don't know are coming)!
