Surviving parenthood in the modern world

This is my first blog entry... a test really of things to come.  I am an attentionally challenged mum of 2 boys living in Australia. Interested in building a sustainable world ( aren't all parents in a manner ... )

Did you know that the fridge can be used as a whiteboard?  Ours currently has a list called "What can I do?"

This is a list of possible answers to the ongoing question - that occurs if the TV and computers are off.

I used to spend my time trotting out suggestion after knocked back suggestion - but now I just say "read the fridge "

I now have something hugely exciting to report. My boys have just discovered MP3 players - and are listening to novels. What bliss to plug them into something electronic that is actually good for them! READ MORE

The NetSquared Blog is a Community Blog

It occurred to me yesterday that not all the folks reading this blog, might know that the NetSquared blog is a community blog and that readers, like you, can post on it.

All you have to do is be registered and logged in on the NetSquared site.  When you are registered and logged in, you'll see a prompt in the right hand corner of the home page that says, "Post to your blog."

If you've been to a NetSquared related event (i.e. Net Tuesday, NTC, SXSW Interactive, Mashup Camp, Brainjams), know about a nonprofit using the social web in cool ways, found a new open source program that could benefit nonprofits, or have an interview with a nonprofit or web innovator you'd like to share, post about it.  READ MORE
