NetSquared gathers together nonprofits and activists, tech leaders and funders, and everyone who’s interested in using technology for social change. Every month our meetup leaders host free in-person events every month in 60 cities. Find your closest group or apply to start a new group.
Nonprofit staffers will find a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for those who aren’t experienced with technology, and many chances to ask questions of tech-experienced nonprofits and experts.
Technologists and consultants will find opportunities to put your expertise to social good, as well as the potential for lasting relationships (be they paid or volunteer) with leading organizations in your community.
Activists and community leaders will see and be given the opportunity to present on successful uses of technology for social change. Not content to simply focus on “shiny tech,” we’ll explore what the true potential for social change is in each case, where community organizing work can be made more effective, and where it will have to push technology forward
As a nonprofit or school finding the money for technology needs can be challenging. To make the most of your technology budget, The Community Corps is a great no-cost resource to help nonprofits and schools bridge the digital divide.
16NTC is being held in TechSoup's backyard of San Jose, so we will be there in a big way! TechSoup and NetSquared staffers have submitted the following sessions for community voting and we'd LOVE your support. All you need to do is create a free ideascale account and you can vote publicly or anonymously if you're feeling shy. Voting closes July 31.
Hey friends, here’s your NetSquared stats for April. As you can see we’re holding more events than last year. Yay! But we reached less people…. But don’t worry about it… The attendance figures are very spiky from month to month. :-)
We have a one-two, grant-making and grant-writing punch lined up for this Thursday. First up is a webinar with Grantstation at 11am followed by a #SoupChat, our online office hour in the forums from 12-1 pm with Caravan Studio's Catherine Johnson on "how to kick start your grant writing skills."
PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD BY TWEETING, RE-TWEETING, FAVORITING, SHARING, LIKING AND JUST PLAIN SPREADING THE GRANTWRITING LOVE.
