Capaciteria has the potential for fostering an online community of practice that includes innovators who wish to post reports from the field, decision-makers who have concerns about due diligence, and advocates who are looking for instances of best practices.  This project enables colleagues to share information across organizational and regional lines and provides an alternative to marketing materials commissioned by vendors.  In addition, Capaciteria's creator, Jonathan Peizer, developed it as a low-budget, one-person web-based project in order to demonstrate that "sometimes the best solutions are neither costly nor complicated."
