I really surprised MacOSX works on it, and maybe the first phone which *BSD works.

I received the podcast from Net2con. I thought it was great and wanted to make others listen to it as well. So i posted about it on my blog. But it's a large file. I editted the mp.3 and now I think it's  better to handle.

          I am Patrick Williams, and I am a Resource Manager for Franklin County Youth Center Inc. We are a 501 c3 organization that is based in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Hi All: I just wanted to let you know about a new online resource for nonprofits. A couple of us here in Chicago who have been working with nonprofits for years recently launched an initiative called IssueLab http://www.issuelab.com an easily searchable archive of nonprofit research. After seeing the organizations we worked with over the years produce engaging and valuable research, only to have it end up tucked away on their web sites (sound familiar?), we decided it was time to launch a free service for nonprofits to bring both their current and historical work to a broader audience. Right now we are focusing on getting as many nonprofits as possible to list their research with IssueLab.

Disabled computer users often regard their browsers as a lifeline to the world.  But during last year's natural disasters, it became very clear that the lifeline was tenuous - perhaps broken entirely - as so many relief sites were not accessible to those who need them most.  To help people with disabilities find what they need more easily, Google Labs released a new product yesterday.  Called Accessible Search, it optimizes pages based on some key accessibility features, including alt text, keyboard navigation, simple language and so forth.  The idea is to save blind users the wasted time and frustration of trying to get information from inaccessible sites. The entertainment industry has barely squared up to the issues concerning world poverty today. With the exception of the much-publicized Live concert spearheaded by Bob Geldolf and political activist Bono and his U2 comrades, only a few have followed up with a personal conviction of using their God-given talents for a cause and instigate change.

Recently however, Sarah Mclachlan (one of my favorite singer-songwriters in the world!) has decided to team up with  acclaimed Music Video director Sophie Muller to bring a new MTV version of "World on Fire." (Click here to view.) The video shows a stark performance of Sarah interspersed with scenes of the standard cost of video production and how this money could have been used to provide food, medical supplies and education to developing nations.
