Great application of CiviCRM
This would be a great application of CiviCRM. CiviCRM is open source, which means you could build that tool without permission. CiviCRM is pretty standard, so once you got your data into CiviCRM you could hit a button and generate a report that describes the overlap.
Then really interesting things happen... what if you could "borrow" email addresses from a collaborative partner for a single mailing. You don't acually get to see them, but they get you email. When they click to update their information, they do it with the organization that has their email address, not the one that sent them a newsletter.
We built CiviCRM with robust APIs so it could handle just these kind of innovations I hope Netsquared catalyzes.
