Moving Ideas provides the background information for citizen activism via the Internet.
The website is a one-stop shop for resources from more than 180 partner and member organizations that focus on issues such as foreign policy and national security, education, civil liberties, jobs and the economy, retirement security and more.
Points of interest:
Moving Ideas has a blog called Ideopolis. It links users to the progressive
community. The nature of the blog allows them to highlight actions, events,
legislation, opinion and commentary. A unique feature of the blog are posts from representatives of their member organizations.
In addition to the RSS feed for the blog, Moving Ideas has a section just for RSS feeds. There are 27 feeds you can subscribe to including Moving Ideas News, Blogger News, Education, Environment, Health Policy, and State Issues.
This is a great example on using RSS feeds.
