NetSquared enables social benefit organizations to leverage the tools of the social web.

net2 local

Net Tuesdays or Net2 Local gatherings provide a chance to connect locally with all those interested in the intersection of social technologies and social change. There are new groups forming every week: Join in!

net2 updates

The first wave of the NetSquared.org makeover is now live! There's more improvements to come, but in the meantime we'd love to hear what you think.

Charity Meter

Challenges:

The admin view for this project would consist of a list of existing causes fed by the Social Actions API. Because of the inability to query for past donations this would be a free field. Until the API gets extended for this scenario.

The widget would start of as an open social implementation followed by a facebook, wordpress and myspace version.

Meetup and review last Monday in Oxford

Hi, we had a Social Actions meetup in Oxford last Monday, and I've posted our feedback on your application in one blog post at http://www.netsquared.org/blog/rolf-kleef/social-actions-meetup-oxford#cm

Regards, Rolf.

Re: Charity Meter

Hi Yannik,

I'm glad to see that you're moving forward with this project and that you have also joined the Social Actions Developers Google group.

Please post about your Change the Web Challenge submission on the Google group. People may have suggestions on how to enhance the application and create a work-around for the fact that the Social Actions API does not permit you to query past donations. I'm thinking that the 'past donations' information may be self-reported using a username / password hosted on your system. Just a thought.

The Social Actions Developers Google group can be found here:

All the best,
Peter
