Join us for the San Francisco Net Tuesday on September 9:
Involver: How Nonprofits Can Create Video Campaigns for Social Networks.
Funding support to complete phase two of our new website. We will be showing off phase one at the conference. We just got our 501c3 in 11/06 so timing is tight for finding the right foundations with the right interests.
By empowering globally local social networking, we have created a gift economy/community. The magic: it’s easier to give something away than throw it away & keeps it out of landfills; a cyber-curbside; a digital segue from commodity to community.
Above all else, we need financial support to help lay the foundation for the Toolbox’s ultimate success.
We know what technology tools our grassroots nonprofit clients need. We know how to configure those tools, we know how to build infrastructure to deploy those tools on a massive scale, and we have partners who can help us host those tools. We even know how to train and support those tools. What we need is the initial support to help us turn this knowledge into action.
Our ultimate goal is to empower 10,000 nonprofit organizations with the $10,000 worth of services through the free technology in the Grassroots.org Toolbox. Your seed funding will help make this is possible. Help us help us others grow.
The Grassroots.org Toolbox will empower nonprofit organizations by granting free access to a suite of fully configured & hosted online tools, including content management, online event registration software, and CRM.
Fund-raising is our biggest need, by far. We would love to hear from people with connections to angel investors willing to support our cause.
We are to Google, AOL and YouTube what public television is to the big networks. We are a nonprofit, fully open source and open standards, dedicated to creating the next Firefox of web video.
Funding to create, host, market and promote the sites to target audience.
African producers depend on middlemen to access outside markets and, as a result, earn very little from their labor. This project will roll out country-specific social networking sites to give African producers direct access to outside markets.
Our goal is to ensure that WiserEarth is accessible to all and available in various languages. We will need support in enhancing community ownership, increasing the diversity among the user base, and growing the breadth and depth of information on the site.
WiserEarth is an international directory and networking forum that maps, links and empowers the largest movement in the world–-the hundreds of thousands of organizations within civil society that address social justice and the environment.
We need money to purchase equipment, pay people, etc. since our volunteers are stretched to the limit and lack the right skills.
The Quality of Women's Leadership equals the Quality of Life on this planet
We are in need of a not-for-profit fiscal sponsor so that we can begin accepting donations. We also would appreciate other not-for-profit startup support including 501c3 application, branding, and seed funding.
YouthAssets will develop a web-based knowledge management tool that utilizes the latest mapping technologies and collaboration tools to enable youth and their supporters to share critical information about and for HIV/AIDS orphans in Southern Africa.

Stop Family Violence will use Web 2.0 technologies to empower local programs, enhance information sharing, help people find the services they need, promote local leadership, and coordinate activism that will keep women and children safe.
The Maps 2.0 partners are seeking sponsors and planning assistance for a convening that will bring together GIS experts and practitioners, nonprofit users, and sponsors to reach more nonprofits, gain greater visibility, and stimulate vigorous dialogue and collaboration.
Maps 2.0, a collaboration already under way, will launch the first online resource for nonprofit and humanitarian organizations to share best practices in geographic information systems (GIS) and digital mapping tools.
Partners – for cash and in-kind donations (computers, software, video conferencing capability, etc.), and advertising/PR
