Involver: How Nonprofits Can Create Video Campaigns for Social Networks.
My MoSoSo is a free wireless software application that helps people meet virtually and then collaborate in real life to achieve mutual or complementary goals. My MoSoSo users enjoy a sense of community that is unprecedented in human history.
My MoSoSo aims to bridge the virtual and real worlds. Our Community Members are provided the ability to remotely identify nearby people who possess similar goals, discuss collaboration with them in a virtual forum and immediately arrange real life meetings.
Social Benefit and Nonprofit Organizations will use My MoSoSo to add a layer of interactivity and cooperation to their workshops and seminars. Additionally, since My MoSoSo creates a portable self-organizing Internet Protocol forum, it is possible for groups to employ the software in their field-study teams’ data intake and reporting activities.
Over the long-term, My MoSoSo will be sustained by an opt-in, geographic proximity-based, advertising system. Advertisers will be provided with the means to broadcast text-tags and audiovisual advertisement media. The PCs of nearby Community Members whose interests or goals relate to advertisers' text-tags will automatically download corresponding ad media and present it.
Like any other new Community, My MoSoSo must reach a 'critical mass' of Members in order to truly flourish. Gaining and maintaining early adopters is a prime concern. In order to overcome these hurdles, we will continually communicate to our early adopters their importance to the success of the Community. To reinforce the sentiment, we will grant various awards and ‘perks’ to those whose contributions are most valuable to society.
Primarily, My MoSoSo needs interested individuals or groups who would identify themselves as ‘Early Adopters,’ ‘Evangelists’ or ‘Good Samaritans.’ Early Adopters want to try that which is new and interesting. Evangelists wish to expose the uninitiated to a service in which they believe. Good Samaritans enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience in order to help others.
Additionally, we need meeting venues where our core Members can assemble and interact in a light-hearted, yet progressive, spirit. Events such as these will serve to unite the My MoSoSo Community.
In the first 90-days of the project, My MoSoSo’s Milestones will be achievements related to building, supporting and empowering the core group (a.k.a. the hub) of our Member Base.
Initially, we will build up the number of My MoSoSo Members by providing events or ‘get-togethers’ where they may gather and interact. One Milestone will be reached when our numbers are so great as to require multiple, simultaneous, regional gatherings.
We will support our Members by listening to their questions, concerns and requests regarding the Community software. A second Milestone will be reached when we have amassed enough feedback to hold our first Community Feature Election.
We will empower our Members by implementing changes the group collectively agrees are most necessary in order to make My MoSoSo a success. A third Milestone will be marked by the release of a software update reflecting the changes voted upon by our Members.
My MoSoSo is free Mobile Social Software that links its users to a powerful digital Community. Bridging virtual space and the real world, My MoSoSo Community Members’ portable PCs introduce them to like-minded people located within range of their WiFi signal (up to 300 feet, outdoors). My MoSoSo is a pure peer-to-peer Community; "pure peer-to-peer" means all Members' PCs communicate directly -- with or without an Internet connection.

Being a My MoSoSo Member is like having a sixth sense that tells you when those who share your interests or goals are nearby. My MoSoSo can help Members quickly discover whether anyone within walking distance would be a good collaboration or interaction partner. Thus informed, Members can use My MoSoSo's built-in private text-chat feature to arrange an immediate face-to-face meeting.

MoSoSo name
Yes! I was so happy that I figured out the name before seeing the definition (making me, I assume, a geek).
Nevertheless- cool idea. Hope MoSoSo becomes a buzzword- it's got that right flavor to it for sure.
