This video is our best description of the application's functionality. We have a licence to publish this application in Apple's app store, but before we submit it for the (possibly lengthy) mandatory Apple review process, we wanted to get community feedback. How can we make this app better? Here are a few of our hopes for the coming weeks:
1) We are finishing up integration with a Facebook application that pulls meta data from wordpress blogs so that you can keep up to date on what your friends are writing via Facebook. This application will also suggest articles you should read, and suggest people you might want to be friends with, based on what you have expressed interest in previously. We think it will be killer to distribute social actions in a unified user experience that involves wordpress, Facebook, and the iphone. We're sorry we couldn't finish it in time to submit a complete application by the deadline :-(
(note: the change the web challenge required that our application be functional by April 3rd, but this isn't the case for the N2Y4 competition. It is very likely that the facebook/wordpress application will be functional by N2Y4 in late May).
2) Richer integration with twitter so that you can be notified of actions posted by someone you follow or someone who is following you.
3) We would also like be able to reccomend "This person tweets actions like you," but this functionality demands a critical mass of users, so we can't implement it until some people start using the application.
4) Let us know! Help us find out what can make this app better, and we'll do our best to work with you. Thanks in advance.
