As we've mentioned in past posts,  NTEN and Beth Kanter are in the midst of facilitating a community created curriculum, We Are Media Project: The Social Media Starter Kit for Nonprofits.

Each week you can contribute to a new part of the project.  This week's section is  Module 6: Considering the ROI of Social Media.  They'd like your input on these questions:

• What are the benefits, both tangible and intangible, that a social media strategy might offer? What value does our social media strategy provide to our organization or stakeholders?
• What type of quantitative and qualitative information do we need to track to measure our success or learn how to improve our social media strategy?
• What are the best examples of nonprofits of social media and ROI? What are the best resources to guide our thinking about ROI and Social Media?

Thanks to a grant from the Packard Foundation, NetSquared is in the process of developing curriculum to help nonprofits use social media effectively.

Before we can create the curriculum, we need to know what you need to know so we're not developing the curriculum blindly, or making assumptions about what you want to learn.

We've put together a brief, 6-question Nonprofit Social Media Survey that will take about 5 minutes to complete.  We'd really appreciate it if you took a few minutes to take the survey, and to pass it on to other interested folks.
