Hi everyone, I'd like to introduce a new way to have fun and raise money for chairity. GamesThatGive (http://www.gamesthatgive.net) is a website offering some of your favorite online games, such as Solitaire and Bubble Burst, that has partnered with sponsors and select charities to allow people to play free games to raise money for charity. How is this possible?

Hi guys,

I work at a national non-profit organization called Do Something,
(dosomething.org) and we support kids empowering themselves and their
community by giving them $500 grants after approving their proposals for
the betterment of the community. We have created a game that involves
making the world a better place. Rather than killing people or trying to
make a million dollars, Karma Tycoon lets you run not-for-profit
organizations in 11 cities across the US while achieving the goal of
helping as many people as possible. Since we have just started it recently, I would love to hear your feedback on the game.  Check it out for yourself, www.karmatycoon.com

Do you live in NYC?  Are you interested in photography, blind people or photography by blind people?  If so, check out the Seeing Beyond Sight Photo Challenge and Party this Saturday from 2-5pm in Brooklyn.  The idea is to blindfold yourself and wander around your world, taking pictures of what you see/feel.  You can always do it on your own, but this event is more social.

Seeing Beyond Sight is a fascinating project by Tony Deifell.  Basically, he gave cameras to blind teenagers and taught them about photography:
