Building community in your area? Check out the newly-launched Community Organizers Handbook! Everything you need to start and grow a NetSquared Local group or any other community-powered program.
Over the past 18 months I've been organising the Manchester Net Tuesday group. We've had speakers, discussions and collaborations on a number of issues relevant to the non-profit sector locally, from online fundraising to search engine optimisation to activism & campaigning - a really rewarding experience.
NetSquared's local groups, often known as Net Tuesdays, are popping up in cities around the world so quickly we can barely sit still from all the excitement. The global NetSquared community is really filling in the globe! I hope you'll join me in welcoming some of our newest organizers and groups: you can find out more about the newest additions below, and learn about how you can get involved here.
Our users can communicate with one another, which is great, but quite often as an administrator the need may arise for us to communicate with a user or users on our site. It may be to remind them about the web site or to inform active users about new changes to the site, which they may not have been made aware of.
