Hi, my name is Ivan Boothe

Hi folks! I'm one of two local organizers for Philadelphia NetSquared and Net Tuesdays. I was part of featured projects at the 2007 and 2008 NetSquared conferences with a nonprofit I helped to found in 2004, the Genocide Intervention Network:

Apart from NetSquared, I work as a consultant and web developer for nonprofits and social change groups around:

  • building online movements
  • creating engaging, supporter-driven websites
  • real-world activism that takes advantage of online social networks

Or, as I like to say, Rootwork powers grassroots networks from the bottom up.

Greetings from Anonymous Servant!

Anonymous Servant will be at N2Y4 and would love to talk with others about Blossom Institute and Slaves Anonymous. I seek your recommendations on how to use the web to better facilitate the creation of independent chapters and find similar groups (if there are any) to become part of an upside-down, chaordic organization.

We appeal to a small segment of persons who balance personal growth and community engagement and seek truth and responsible action beyond popular frames of reference. We are self-regulating, adaptive networks of think tanks and support groups.

At Blossom Institute, our members imagine and manifest a better world. We envision and prototype ways to connect persons with others through the spirit of service.

Hello, my name is Alex Steed

Hi y'alls - N2Y4 Conference attendees and those keeping up on "the Internets." I just wanted to make my presense known. It's me, Alex Steed, all. I'm pretty psyched about N2Y4. I am sort of an odds and ends type in the NetSquared world and I write and research and organize and do a little of this and do a little of that. My favorite part of all of that is getting in touch with all of you, reading about what's new in these various realms, and generally being on top of the game.

Hello, My Name is Amy Sample Ward

Hi everyone - N2Y4 Conference attendees and those following along online.  I just wanted to take a quick minute to introduce myself, add to the introductions flowing into the Net2 blog stream, and say, once again, how very excited I am about this year's conference. I am the Global Community Builder for NetSquared, which means my role covers many areas: the NetSquared offline community (Net Tuesdays), NetSquared online community (the blog and website), and much more.  I'm so excited for the N2Y4 Conference that I've highlighted some goals for myself and want to share them with the whole community!

Hello world! We're gonna change it!

Hey Everyone,

I'm Peter Philips.  I'm the founder of TechForProgress, a grassroots organization that is dedicated towards using technology to stimulate and innovate change and progress at the individual, local, and national levels.  NetSquared is amazing initiative with similar goals that I am proud to be a part of.

I'll be blogging, vlogging, and twittering from N2Y4.  This year looks to be an exciting year and I can't wait to share coverage of the event!  Stay tuned for updates!  Follow us on twitter at #N2Y4.
