NetSquared recently followed up with the N2Y3 Featured Projects to develop these short case studies, with the goal to expand the knowledgebase of best practices for applying social media in the nonprofit context. We interviewed participants from the N2Y3 Featured Project teams to gain a better understanding of the way they used social media to increase their reach and carry out their missions. We are very happy to bring you their stories!

The Knowmore team would really like to thank the attendees at this year's N2Y3 conference for their support of our project! Throughout the conference, we got some great feedback and were inspired by so many awesome projects and passionate contributors.  We are very excited about taking Knowmore to the next level and have a lot of ideas we'll be exploring in the coming weeks.

Today, at the NetSquared Conference, Knowmore.org is launching its Firefox Extension! You can download the extension by clicking here.

Below is the two minute intro that I am giving in a few hours, introducing our non-profit and Featured Project to the Netsquared Conference:

Peace!

My name is B. Dolan, and I'm the Executive Director of Knowmore.org; a web based community, whose mission is "chronicling and resisting corporate attacks on democracy, worker's and human rights, fair trade, business ethics and the environment."

I'm also a performance artist, poet, and clown, but that's a whole other introduction...

I'm writing this while I sit in the passenger seat of a giant, white cargo van careening up the East Coast on route 15, so if I seem a bit distracted in tone, that's probably why. I could wait the four hours until I'm safely in the confines of my computer chair, but I don't want to lose the ideas while they're there. Well, that and I'm sort of melodramatic...

The KnowMore.org Firefox Extension is currently seeking a volunteer Firefox extension developer to help us develop a beta in time for the NetSquared Conference (May 27-28th).
