Are Tweets records? Thoughts on Twitter and record keeping
Are Tweets, Facebook updates and similar forms of communication "official communication"? Considering they are frequently written by someone from the communications department – does that make them official records? If they are, then we should have mechanisms to preserve and archive them.Â
