Building community in your area? Check out the newly-launched Community Organizers Handbook! Everything you need to start and grow a NetSquared Local group or any other community-powered program.
I am excited to share the initial results of our Shape the Future of NetSquared community survey!
In all, 209 people responded and an additional 50 NetSquared Local organizers completed a detailed survey to report back on the status and interests of their groups around the world. We’d like to thank all of you who took the time out to participate and the NetSquared team members who spent many long hours working on the project, especially Claire Sale.
Is our e-mail still sitting in your inbox or on your to-do list? Have you been meaning to get to it but (insert excuse here)? Good news! You have one last chance to complete the NetSquared Community Survey by this Sunday November 6th. We’ve received some great responses so far from 177 of you, but we’re nowhere near satisfied. Who else is lurking out there?
We want to deepen our learning on several major issues affecting the NetSquared audience. If you’ve had any contact with NetSquared, online or offiline, we want to hear what you have to say.
One week ago, my colleague Marc posted an announcement asking NetSquared Community members around the world to take a comprehensive community survey for us to learn how to move the program forward. Having recently posted the Net2 Think Tank on Community Surveys, I was excited to use some of my own lessons learned from the community. As the curator on the team, I have spent the last week promoting, reading, and responding to surveys. In the interest of transparency and mutual learning, I’d like to share a few of my lessons-learned from conducting th
NetSquared needs your brain! No, we’re not zombies. We’re conducting a survey of the community, and sharing your experience will help shape the future of NetSquared. Please take a few moments to tell us what we can do to serve you better.
As we shared previously, we’re re-evaluating our strategy and goals for the NetSquared program. Social innovation is gaining momentum globally, and the needs of our audience are changing. We want to learn from you how we can change for the better.
Hello everyone,
We're in the process of lining up a few great prizes for our forthcoming community survey, which will launch this coming Tuesday October 18th.
We look forward to your participation and getting your help in shaping the future of NetSquared!
We’re writing to share some exciting news about our plans to spend the month of October surveying the community so we can better understand your needs. The aim is to re-evaluate our strategy and goals for the NetSquared program moving forward.
As changemakers in our communities, it's important to take the time to learn from the communities that we serve about their impressions of our services. Whether your community is of volunteers, members of the public, internal stakeholders, or international organizations, it is valuable to ask them what they think of your work and invite them to help shape the future of your programs. For this month's Net2 Think Tank, we asked you to share your tips and examples from surveying your community!
"How can the leap to 4G mobile broadband help social change organizers?"
Tate Hausman and Sam Boykin recently contacted me on behalf of Mobile Citizen to ask me that question and to ask for my help in finding the answer.
We recently wrapped up the 2010 FACT Challenge, and while working to promote and support the Featured Projects and Winners, we are also looking ahead to upcoming Challenges. As always, we are actively improving the platform, including the Challenge process - the way it works for Project teams as well as the community. During the FACT Challenge, we heard from many community members, provided support when people needed help, and even worked to improve the platform in real time. During the Community Vote, I shared some of the feedback and updates on our work. Now, we are hoping even more people will weigh in and share feedback!
Dear all,
Nice to meet you all! I've become aware of NetSquared during my research on activism and organizations using innovative communication tools, and Claire encouraged me to link my survey here for all of you to see (thank you!), so...
