Search Tool Taps into World’s Largest Collection of Nonprofit Taglines—4,800+ Entries
Nonprofit organizations of all sizes have a valuable opportunity to strengthen their messaging with the just-launched Nonprofit Tagline Database.
Organizations that hone their messaging well are part of a growing trend of smart nonprofits whose taglines help build awareness of their value and put them firmly in audiences’ hearts, minds, schedules and wallets, says Nancy Schwartz, publisher of these resources and the Getting Attention blog and e-newsletter.
Since 2008, the Nonprofit Tagline Awards (aka the Taggies) have been rewarding organizations for using strong taglines in their marketing materials. A powerful tagline can be the centerpiece of a strong marketing campaign, and can serve to both clarify and simplify your message.
We invited you to submit and vote in this competition, and now that all the ballots have been tallied it's time to share the winners with you:
Place your vote today for the 2010 Getting Attention Nonprofit Tagline Awards!
The 70 tagline finalists have been culled from over 2,700 entries in 13 vertical sectors. These orgs have done a fantastic job in putting well-selected words to build their brands. Now it's your turn to select the best. Through voting, you’ll get a stronger sense of what makes messaging work and learn to assess your organization's taglines.
Britt Bravo is on a much-deserved vacation, so I'm stepping in for her to keep news and information about the social change web coming your way!
The Getting Attention Nonprofit Tagline Awards have been announced and there are 12 nonprofit winners! This was the first of an annual contest, bringing in over 1,000 tagline submissions and over 3,000 votes.
