Hi everyone
Please feel free to come by at BeerCamp Copenhagen 2008: http://beercamp.pbwiki.com/
Regards,
Allan
A bit late I write my feedback from the Social Innovation Camp (sicamp08), which luckily had the chance to join. I first heard about it from Dan McQuillan, who is one of the initiators and also has a great blog.
This is the first part of a rant I have been mulling over for about 3 years now. I want to get it up before the end of the event, so I will save my proposal for a second post.
Advanced nonprofit technology practitioners need a place to connect and learn from each other. Who will fill this gap?
For years this was the collective whine from the hundreds of NTAPs who attend the Nonprofit Technology Conference to help other colleagues in the sector. When NetSquared was announced in 2005, I was excited to hear they would be bringing together the best minds from the nonprofit world with the leading technologists. Would this be the long-awaited venue for advanced "NPTECH" conversation?
Dear net2 community - whoever you (we) are!
I am a seasoned veteran when it comes to 'attending' 'un'conferences online (living in South Australia). I am a newbie to this community and to facilitating conferences in general. I have volunteered to help a local organisation with their conference here in Australia next year - especially with regard to the 'online' components.
I would love to swap ideas (hopefully publicly via a forum like this blog) and offer my services as a remote tester for the online components of your conference in May 2006.
