Water conflicts are fast becoming a serious problem toward development of Kenya and Africa in general, the climate change on the other hand is not helping much either. Many, including various African governments, are trying their best in solving these situations but are not able. This is reason why this project is taking an innovative and comprehensive approach which involves, metering in various water schemes, water harvesting and storage in schools, holding of peace building workshops in affected areas and sharing of successes and new innovative ideas in a website established for this purpose. Every year swimming pools are wasting billions of gallons of water that can be saved. This blog addresses the problems with the current use of full pool covers, and how half covers are the solution to pool water conservation. It takes only 200 pools using pool covers to save an entire 3.5 million gallon tank of city drinking water.
