Watch out for the BarCamp-like 'Social Innovation Camp' in London in early March 2008, with it's Netsquare-inspired aspiration to 'remix nonprofits for social change'. Hopefully some of the ideas cooked up there will make it to next year's 'Best Of...'

Best Use of the Social Web for Advocacy by a Nonprofit: MoveOn … for mobilizing their membership inside of Facebook against the invasion of privacy, taking action based upon their improved understanding of members’ through interpretation of the social cube.

Best Use of the Social Web for Raising Awareness by a Nonprofit: Greenpeace for publishing thousands of online videos, some of which were watched by millions. They told stories well.

Best Use of the Social Web for Member Recruitment by a Nonprofit: Care2 for attracting a diverse base of new members across many issues by responding to members’ issues and concerns. They listened well.
