You aren't going to let each other down.

You all post on the blogs with generosity. You share your ideas and help others with theirs. And when we ask you to vote on the projects, you step up an do it thoughtfully.

Innovations happens where there is desire, need and constraints.

And we know that people who are working to make the world a better place are working from a place of passion. They all -- you all -- see the need and you are still getting up every morning and trying to make change. And that makes for a creative energy that sparks innovation. Innovation happens, not in spite of constraints, but because of them. And it's innovation that can really work.

You need help to make the innovation real.

First off, thanks for your patience as we work through the technical problems on the site. We've been, as Britt said, overwhelmed by your response. You all have certainly being doing your job -- getting out the vote. We've slipped on ours -- keeping the site stable and strong while your responses poured in.

Check out our new SUBSCRIBE page. It gives you all kinds of tips on how to use RSS and tags to customize the content you receive from the NetSquared site.

We've set it up so you can subscribe to different content types like the Community Blog, Case Studies, 4 Questions, Net2Ask and the NetSquared Newsletter.

In addition, you can subscribe to a particular NetSquared blogger, like Marshall Kirpatrick or Chris Locke (or me!).

Sure, clicking on the Community Blogs from the front page takes you to a recent posts (reverse chronological order) from the folks blogging here at NetSquared. But what if you want to see a list of all bloggers? Or find and follow just a single person?

You can now view all Net2 bloggers. Those folks with the most posts are listed at the top. Just click on a name and you can go to that person's own blog. And (of course) you can also subscribe to their RSS feed.

Gaining traction

I've been working head down for so long that I've forgotten to pull up and look around. My aggregator's groaning with the weight of items I want to share via the net2 tag. I'll tell the truth: I've been head down because I've been suffering from a little doubt.

We started this with, well, if you've been around for a while you remember the first version of this site. And in the labs here, we've been working hard to make our vision real -- a community coming together to share knowledge, build solutions and connect with one another. As I look around, it feels like it's starting to happen.

It's live!

Well, the sneak preview isn't so sneak or so preview anymore. As you can see the design is live. I've gotten a few emails to tell me about some buggy behavior -- thanks and keep them coming. You can also drop a comment on this post and we'll address the bugs as they come up.

I want to give a big thanks to duoh and Floatleft for their hard work on getting the design and implementation done. And, of course, none of it would happening without hosting and lots of assistance from Bryght.
