The NetSquared Ambassadors wrapped up their 2017 term on December 31. Their contributions continue to be a major part of NetSquared's success and growth because they give us local expertise and connections. I tried to measure their impact at the end of the previous year and the numbers continue to hold true.
Every month TechSoup's NetSquared community organizers volunteer to bring free and low-cost nonprofit technology events and workshops to over 50 cities. If you want to network with your peers or love to learn at live, in-person events NetSquared is the place for you!
Our chapter leaders believe that we can bridge the digital divide by giving every NGO the tools and skills to accomplish their missions efficiently and effectively. That's why this fall we've planned events specifically for nonprofit staffers who use technology. But we also believe that there's value in getting our tribe together for a good old fashioned party. Pittsburgh has scheduled a holiday party complete with gift exchange and arcade games. Our friends in Los Angeles are holding a "get together" (it can't be a winter party when they don't suffer a proper winter!) Not to be out-done the North Carolina crew is taking over over a brewery for their holiday social. So don't be a grinch - join your local nonprofit techies and get sociable this holiday season!
Find Fall Fundraising Friends at NetSquared Meetups
Fall has arrived, and with it comes fundraising season. More than one-third of charitable giving happens in the last three months of the year and the emergence of Giving Tuesday (on November 28 this year) makes the year’s end even more critical for charities. Feeling overwhelmed? Your local NetSquared group is here to help with free, in-person events being held across the USA and the globe.
September is HUGE for NetSquared – our community has scheduled 166 events so far and the month isn't over yet! Let's build on the momentum by making sure your group has events scheduled for October and November too.
