Project Description:
TakingITGlobal.org is an online community that connects youth to find inspiration, access information, get involved, and take action in their local and global communities.
Points of interest:
* TIG is partners with Chat the Planet, a youth networking website with a unique video chat that links young people and organizations all over the globe to social and political opportunities, and produces a TV show whose specials are featured on stations like MTV and LinkTV.
* A blog for its members
* Free online team project planning space. The space includes:
-a free e-mail list, allowing for easy distribution of messages to project members
-a place for project members to post on their progress with photos
-the ability to upload relevant project documents and photographs
* Global Gallery an interactive space for all TIG members for artistic expression that aims to promote cross-cultural understanding worldwide.
